Solar photovoltaic panels have SolarEdge technology to optimise output when the panels are partly shaded. The electric car is charged with renewable electricity from Ecotricity at night. Investigating using Solar PV to charge during the day.
John and Mary installed a Tesla Powerwall battery which is linked to the Tesla Virtual Power Plant.
