13.3333px;">Installed in December 2020, we have 5+kWh East Facing 13.3333px;">19-panel solar system with three 1.5kWh Lithium ion batteries with an EDDI interface on the immersion water heater which takes any surplus off the roof. We drive an all-electric VW Golf (also mostly charged from the roof or, in the winter, on a low over-night electricity tariff with Octopus) and an e-MTB.  We have three “wormeries” for composting our fruit & , veg waste, three large compost bins to deal with garden prunings and grass clippings and a shredder to create mulch from more woody prunings.  And a brown garden waste bin to mop up any surplus!  We produce hardly any food waste.  We also have two water-butts.
